I have a 69 396 with rebuilt heads. When I had the heads off the the cylinders and cam looked fresh, the motor was smoking on one side. I thought it needed a valve job so I had the heads done. after putting it together It smoked on the the same side. I now just want to sell it, what is it worth

posting casting #'s and the date code, along with any front pad info would help

A rebuildable 396 is worth $400 to $500.
