Fits 64-84 Eaton -shows non series specific.

do the clutch's have grooves cut into them to make them look like flower pedals? if so do not use them! every single posi i have pulled apart that had that kind was , one or more of them was broke. they can end up in the gears to cause major destruction. if that is the kind, bad deal. sell them on the bay. i can supply the correct kind. tom

No Tommy ,one kit fits all -that's what I meant by "non series specific".

All of the internal parts from the 2,3 and 4 series Eaton Posi are exactly the same. The ONLY difference is in the location of the ring gear flange on the case.

question ; tom or others . the disc's that are non flower pedals , the ones with just the tabs , they should be able to use & stand up to a little pounding , yes ? . but then i would imagine you can only buy them as a full kit anyhoo .

yes, the ones with just the tabs will take lots of abuse. the do come in kits. i do have plenty of singles for those that need them. or any other eaton posi part for that matter. tom

The weaker discs will probably be fine in the 2 series. Anyone who uses it will probably not be too hard on it. 2 series gears are not considered performance gears, unless you want to run 200 MPH on the salt. :D

are the cluches/discs the same for a 10 bolt & 12 bolt?

How much is a pack to rbuild the posi unit? Any good references on how to do it?

The clutch set is $120 plus shipping.

How do you tell if factory used clutches are still good? Is there a minimum thickness?

The clutches are dark gray when they are new. The center of the disc will wear first. If there is still a dark gray band around the outside and inside edges of the discs then they still have some wear in them. If they are shiny all over then they need to be replaced.
