Trying to ge tthe last part needed to do a hydroboost installation in a 70 Malibu. I've got everything except the return hose from the hydroboost to the pump. I don't want to "T" it and understand there is a return hose for the 1976 Cadillac Elderado that has a "Y" at the pump end. Can anyone get me the GM part number. I've tried the local parts store(NAPA) and they look at me like I'm talking russain or something and the local dealership has closed and the surrounding dealers aren't willing to help much for non standard applications. Is there such a beast as this "Y" return line I've been told about and read about here? Also considering a new pump with dual return lines(slight modifications needed to return lines, need to be cut shorter). I've come across A-1 Cardone 208609(53.89) and AC/Delco 36517027(75.79). Does anyone know if these are direct bolt in's for a 70 Malibu's powersteering pump? Will the 70's pulley directly fit the above mentioned pumps? TIA Pete

I am thinking about using this one on mine, you will have to use your pump on this resevoir because i think it has a pressed on pulley

Weeeeeelp.......info and pictures on GM vehicles pre-85 are either non-existant or very crappy, so it's tough to really get you any of the info youre looking for. Return p/s hoses for that thing we're showing as bulk 3/8" hose and I can't get ANY pics of the p/s hoses for that thing. Sadly, I think you're just gonna have to track down one of these and take a look if it exists....

Your original Cad listing shows a booster to gear line and a pressure pump to booster line. Both are discontinued. Booster to gear line is #7818565 and Sands Motor company in Glendale AZ still shows it. No contact info, use google.
your number 36517027 is aka 88985352 and Scoggin Dickey still shows one 1-800-888-4251. Running that through the parts search on what it fits, it drills down to a non-hydroboost application.
Hope that helps.
