Above my VIN on the door jamb tag it says Chevrolet DD. Does the DD mean anything? Just curious. Thanks.

elcamino Nov 14th, 04, 8:59 AM DD means DELIVERY DATE Many dealers would stamp this on there when the car went into service with the first owner but it turned out to be something they could not get all the dealers on board with. Also I heard that there were some problems associated with stamping the tags, i.e. some clown at dealer damaging the VIN plate with aggressive stamping etc. EddieF Nov 14th, 04, 9:15 AM Interesting.
