I have removed the old Bellhousing and Transmission from my project car and plan on rebuilding and selling them. If any one van help with the identity of the tranny it would be great.
I have located some info but I was hoping to find out what make and model car it came from. I am thinking maybe a 63 corvette.
Thanks all.

The J in the partial VIN indicates Janesville, which I think produced full size Chevrolets. A Corvette partial VIN would have the letter S for St. Louis. So I think your T-10 was originally installed in a 1963 Impala or similar model. This was the last year of the T-10 usage in Chevrolets; GM switched to Muncies mid-year, and started using the Super T-10 in the 70s.
