It looks very nice, Maybe alittle steep on price. Also had an oil pressure gauge mounted in the dash to the right of the radio. Dont want to cut that hole either but i dont like mounting under the dash. Any suggestions on where to mount it. Thanks All

I'm going to be making my own custom console for precisely those reasons, and more. It sure would be nice to have some cup holders.

OUCH....$600 for a deck. I'd steer clear of that one. You could mount a new one in your trunk or glove compartmant and use it buy remote.

About the Radio I could let you know in about a week or so, While in Carlisle Saturday a buddy and I both bought that Radio one for his 70 Chevelle and one for my 71 Elcamino from Mike Frenchek @ Retro Radio Restoration, He had one set up and working and it looked and sound very good. The first one was $595.00 and the second one was $575.00 with free shipping on both. They have the hook up in the back for a I-POD and a CD changer.

Post back after you get it if you would. my brother in law told me he bought one but it was a poor fit so he sent it back. He may have bought a different one than the one were going for. I'm not certian that i want to spend that much on a stereo though. 1 reason i liked it was hooking a mp3 player to it. i could load up a 4 gig and have over 1000 songs at my fingertips.
Thanks
