Just had my am/fm conversion radio installed professionally with new front and rear speakers from electro tech - nice sound.
Picked it up from the professional installer WED night and he went through the settings and controls - it worked nice. When I got home, turned ignition off and a lot of crackling noice, no problem,car and radio started up just fine next time. Took family out for drive to listen to some tunes and could not get sound. The radio LED lights come on but no power to speakers. Ah, I got sound after restarting car. Make a long story short , intermittant problem of radio not working. Last night radio worked for 10 seconds then stopped cold, have not got it to work since.:confused: Shop is closed today. You guys probably no how I feel today as I had very high expectations after spending $$ on conversion radio, speakers and installation. I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH NO ONE TO CALL.
Anybody like to share their expertise with me on what's going on, to help me ease through the pain until Monday. I'd like a lesson in wiring before I launch off at someone on Monday.
