I'm trying to find information about Chevelle production numbers at Baltimore for the 1966 model year. I'm researching a late 1966 Baltimore Chevelle. Does anyone know what the last VIN (last six digits) was for that model year? And when did production of the 1966 model end in Baltimore? I've scoured my books and the web but can't find this information.

If anyone has a late '66 model and is willing to share their VIN info, that might help answer the question.

End of July 1966 Vehicle #188331 was the last # assigned at the Baltimore plant.They started at 100,001.There were 6 plants producing this car,as well as Elcaminos at the same time.

My 66 vin is from the 2nd week of june it is 174481.

And does anyone know when they began producing the '66 Chevelles at Baltimore? I assume it was sometime in August of 1965. Does anyone have an early '66 built at Baltimore? If so, do you mind sharing the last six digits of the VIN and the information from the Trim Tag?

September 1965 was the first month for production on the 1966 Chevelle/Elcaminos at all 6 plants.The last VIN# produced in the month of September 1965 at Baltimore plant was #103848.
The first was #100001.
