Mike Apr 24th, 09, 8:59 PM 43 of the 44 1983 C4 Corvettes were destroyed. The one remaining car, number 23 (white), was retired to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY where it is now on display. It is still owned by GM.

Actually, according to the tour guide, they were all white with red interiors, just like the 53 model year cars.

Paul, are those rarer than a '57 Impala?? ;)

some states title a car based on when the car was originally sold- so if Paul got his car in the fall of '66, it would be titled as a '66 model.
so i'm sure there are probably a few '57 Impalas and '52 and '83 Vettes running around out there..
pdq67 Apr 26th, 09, 11:27 PM No, not at all, b/c I ordered my car in Oct, '66 and got it in early Dec. '66!
