Are reproduction or original warranty booklets for a 1970 Chevelle in which the PoP is attached available anywhere? My original booklet got wet and damaged and now has green mold all over it.

These booklets don't contain information that would make a Chevelle, Malibu, or an SS anything else than what it was intended to be out of the factory.

Owner's Manuals are available repro, but I don't ever recall seeing a warranty booklet. You can probably find the stuff at a flea market however. A lot of times the car has been recycled but the documentation gets held onto. I kept the owner's manual out of dad's '70 Biscayne, but who knows what happend to the warranty book? If anybody would reproduce them it would've been Jim Osborne Reproductions. I think he died a year or 2 ago unfortunately.

Cam - I appreciate your response! I've never seen the warranty booklets available either. I wanted to obtain it in order to continue to refine my Chevelle restoration project. BTW, I have an excellent original copy of my car's owner's manual.

I think I've seen them on eBay.

An option would be to take your moldy one to a printer (not a copy place like kinko, but a real printer ) and see what they can do to reproduce it.

If those con artists are gonna fake the protect o plates, don't they need the booklets to attach them to.. graemlins/angry.gif

Probably so. Caveat Emptor! I, for one, am very lucky to have the original documentation for my Chevelle and don't need anything from any con artist. All I need is another warranty booklet, used or reproduced..., preferably used and in very good condition.
