I recently had a Viper alarm system installed my 68 Malibu. Ever since then, the battery does not seem to hold a charge for long.
I metered it out and it looks like there is a constant draw on the circuit for the ignition buzzer/horn relay.
I can also see the voltage drop when I turn the alarm on and off.
Any ideas what they did to cause this issue?
Thanks in advance.

A lot depends on how it was wired. You can disconnect the IGN buzzer by pulling the pink w/ black stripe at the horn relay.

The alarm controller has a constant current draw, even when not armed. Depending on the options installed, the draw could be around 1 amp. If you drive the car regularly, that shouldn't be a problem. Doesn't sound like you drive it much, so your choices are to use a trickle battery charger or switch off power to the alarm controller. The Battery Tender product is easy to use as a trickle charger if you don't want to (or can't) switch off your alarm.
