I had my frame up off the ground for a few months now and all the spring force was pulling down on the upper shock bushings. The bushings are no cracked and split. I search everywhere to purchase just the poly bushings. I even tried ebay. Does anyone know where I can just purchase the poly bushings on the top if the shock mount?

I am surprised that there are not any hot rod or restoration shops in Canada. Even if the cost is a little higher the savings in shipping would be enormous. You guys get rip offed by the shippers to get your parts. It might be a good business venture for someone to look into.

BTW the damage probably was not caused by the weight of the front end on the shocks. The rubber bushings will not last very long even in normal use. It doesn't seem to be as durable as the rubber bushings made 30 years ago. I only use the polygraphite type now for that reason.

energy suspension is usually sold as sway bar end link bushings at my local auto parts store. Which is pretty much the same thing.

There are many speed shops and restoration parts vendors in Ontario alone.
