I followed the '66 Service Manual for this procedure and added what seemed to be quite a bit of EP Lubrication grease. It said "until you see it in the 'check lube' hole".

Is it supposed to come out this "check lube" hole to be considered full?

it'll take nearly an whole tube of the lube, install in lower hole, will ooze out in Check Lube hole. Did you work the box back and forth while filling?

Thank you Leo. I will add more until it comes out the "Check Lube" hole and will rotate the steering back and forth periodically while adding the grease. The steering never felt bad, but based on how much I added so far - it wasn't very full.
