I know this topic has been discussed till we are all blue in the face but I still have a question. I just purchased two of 1971 craigar ss in the box for the rear of my 71 chevelle. 15x10 3.75 bs. I am sorry to ask but, how large can I go? I have larger springs in the rear but those are the only mods and I don't want to cut anything.

A 15x10" with a 3-3/4" BS will definetly NOT fit unless the body comfortably rides above the tires, the tread will be in contact with the fender on the outer 3/8 of the wheel, let alone whatever size tire you run.

You need about 5-1/4" BS to clear the fender on the inside lip with a 10" wheel.

my luck. the body riding above the tire would look pretty stupid since this a rust free frame off resto. I guess I will sell them on Craigs list or use them on something else when I get two more. I have another full set, (2) 8s and (2) 10s with the proper bs. I just liked that deep dish look.
