Is there a trick to caulking the rain channel above the window,and how far do you fill it up.i bought the 3m caulk white paintable

Basically, use your little finger to smooth it out, you just need enough to make it look good, no need to over fill it. Good luck.

And I'm pretty sure you put it over the epoxy or whatever primer you're using, not on the bare metal.
