OK, I've asked more time's than I can remember so what spindles did GM install by modification on the 201 Z-16 Chevelles b/c I would STILL install them on my '67 even after installing my "pdqCBB" setup on all four corners?

At Chevell-abration '08 there were 3 Z-16 cars there, and I looked under them to find out the same thing... They looked just like a regular Chevelle drum-brake spindle, except the upper bolt-boss was moved upward about 1/2" to fit the bigger drum backing-plates.
My guess is that they were a special forging unique to the Z-16, and if you were to find a pair of them, they'd be worth as much as the Camaro. :D

Or the pair of spindles would be worth their weight in gold.

IIRC, the front spindles were Impala units, maybe the whole brake setup was from the Imp.

I thought the '65 Imp's had top up and bottom down ball-joints??
And just what ball-joints do '65 Imp's use compared to '65 A-body's??
Please guys, JUMP in here and educate me!!

The Z-16 used a unique forged Chevelle/Camaro/Nova style spindle with the upper bolt boss moved ~1/2" up to fit the big Impala brakes.
Impala spindles are much taller (roughly 3" IIRC), and have the inverted lower balljoint (upper and lower balljoints both point "down")
