Just installed a 1966 Crossflow Alumitech Rad in my 1965 Chevelle (Small Block). I have an Edelbrock Intake and am using both temperature sensors (one on each side of the water neck) so I have to use the waterneck that points straight along the centerline of the car . Same as stock '65 I think?
Not sure what to use for hoses? Surely I can't be the only one who has been to this special place before?

Get dimensions of what you need, diameters at both ends and length between, then head down to your FLAPS. Gates makes a Molded Coolant hose book they should have. Dig through it until you find the dimensions you need. The hose for a 65 may be fine. What did you have before?

Most standard parts stores (autozone etc) have coolant tubes in the performance section that can be molded to the needed application. They are rather expensive however. I personally like the fabricated look of a custom made piece from a shop made from aluminum.

I don't know if you like 'flashy' or not, but these types of radiator hoses seal well, can be cut to length to fit and obviously are flexible. I bought mine off eBay years back and I've seen many different vendors sell them.
