Guys, from what I read 69 doors will fit on a 68. Will the regulator, etc for the windows from a 68 fit into the 69 doors? I don't care to much for the vent window and would like to delete this option.

Thanks

If you want to get rid of the vent wings, then why would you want the '68 regulator? Just go with the '69 doors with their windows completely.
If you want to use the '68 door panels, you have to change the door lock release button to match the location on the earlier panel.

I wasn't too concerned about the regulator, but more the guts inside the door. I just notice and have heard that these parts are hard to find. I plan on having electric regulators for the windows which I will have to purchase anyways. So I guess I'm more concerned with the track that holds the glass and if my old 1968 track will fit on 1969 glass.

Thanks

The tracks, door shells and ALL the guts are totally different between 68 and 69. Not even close. The only way you can put 69 looking doors on the car, is to use 69 doors.

And I'm just the other way around. I love to personally kick the dogpoopy out of the person who made the decision to eliminate wing windows. Of course, the economy may eventually take care of that person's job anyway!

I can understand... Mine are in pretty bad shape, as are the doors and the glass. Since I have to fork out money for the doors and glass and since I like the 69 look better I figure I would just drop the vents. And save a bunch of money.
