I have browsed the catalogs and see many different brands and ratings. My car will be for cruis-ins, but also hammered at the track. I need advice as to which clutch, pressure plate, bearing kit (brand) is the best bang for the buck.
Thanks for any help and tips

Well, I use the CenterForce II, the whole deal, flywheel, clutch, disk and release bearing. Not a cheap deal.
McLeod also makes good stuff, I used there stuff when I raced.
Any thing you pick will be a trade off, if you need good street manners than a clutch made for racing is not for you. So, pick the clutch based on the primary use like street driving.
I can't stress enough matching components and starting with fresh everything, that includes the flywheel, just bite the bullit:yes::yes::yes:

Thanks Wally, I have the new flywheel. I will be abusing this clutch I'm sure. I may go with the McLeod kit from Summit ;)
