i have removed all trim except this piece:

i have a feeling the window felt has to come out first, but in order to remove that there are two things that look like rivets holding it in pictured here:

how do i take off the felt and how do i remove the lower window trim piece?

Look at the felt. There are small screws.

Those rivets are probably (well, they should be) small Phillips screws. Take them out, and there are some clips attached to the window fuzzies you'll have to pry a little bit on to get out. Once the fuzzies are out you can get to the screws that hold the molding on.

i posted a picture of the felt. its not a phillips head, its just like a rivet.
