If it was just rebuilt you need to find out what was done to it. Cam specs, compression, type of heads, rods, crank. But honestly, a number is just that. What really matters is how it feals and how it runs. A 327 can be a very respectable high rpm motor with the right parts. If it has an automatic that is a 2 speed, it is a powerglide, 3speed is either th350 or th400, most likely th350.

Since it has been sitting..... can you turn the motor by hand using a long rachet on the crank bolt? There is an oil primer tool that goes in place of the distributor and gets spun by your basic electric drill. Get one of these on there after the oil change. Take the valve covers off. Spin it until you get oil out of every rocker. If it has an oil pressure gauge have a buddy verify you are getting pressure. There is a good chance you will end up with a stuck ring and rust in various places.

Can't give any close numbers without knowing the specs on the engine.
