is there a kit that you guys know of....I have a rpm air gap intake on a 396 block...it doesnt look as if it will clear the hood any body run into this

I have a Victor Junior air gap manifold with a vortex "Blow Through" supercharger ( Carb inside the air plenum) on my 383 Stroker with no hood clearance problems. I am betting that you'll have none either.

I asked that same question b4, the answer was yes it will clear, BUT I forget the carb and aircleaner used and mine is a 66. Do a search and you'll probably find the question. If you search for KarlJay, you might find the thread...

My edelbrock elite air cleaner came with a base that drops down around the carb giving extra hood clearance with a 4" call air cleaner.
