Hey folks, haven't posted or been on ere in quite awhile, been busy trying to finish this 16 year restoration project. I did many searches, but can't seem to find my answer. This is in regards to side window issues on a 70 Chevelle. After hours and hours f trial and error, I feel comfortable with where and how to make adjustments to get the desired result, but my last issue has me puzzled. With all the side windows adjusted, everything seems to fit and look good (other than hard to close with the new weatherstripping, but I think that will fade with time). Here are my two issues:

The inside of the front and rear door windows drag alot on the new weatherstriping and want to pull it down in the door and push it back up out of wack when rolling the window up and down. Not sure if I need to trim that "slit" towards the front to allow more room? and trim off excess on the rear weatherstripping where it wraps over the inner door frame and a liitle inside the door?

When I have the door windows down and the doors closed, if I attempt to roll the windows up, they go both go great till the front edge makes contact with the door and roofrail weatherstripping. At that point, it shifts the window to where the back top edge pulls away from the qtr window weatherstripping. Doesn't seem to matter what I do, I can't get this porblem fixed. Should the windows be able to shift like that, or it it possible that the rollers are so reamed out that the are allowing this play?

I'm very close to finishing this 16 year project, so any help is greatly aprecaited. Thanks!
