I have read most of the information on here about painting the dash . I am re doing my complete interior and was curious if it would be possible to either brush or use a sponge VS spraying the lower dash as it is textured and it seems like this would work. Anyone ever try this or hear of doing it ? Thanks.

Hi Terry,
GM originally used Suede Paint for the tops of the dash. 9377 is the code for Zero Gloss Black with Texturizer.
Camaro HI-Performance has the original paint in stock. Krylon textured flat finish is close if you choose. Auto Body Supply and Paint stores will have the additive too.

I haven't heard of sponging it on. I used a Dupli-color Interior trim spray I picked up at O'Reillys. Here's some pics.

Good thoughts guys . I think I will need to spray it on as it is the lower dash . I just don't want to remove it so it looks like a lot of masking to keep overspray down. Thank you.
