I traded my '84 Vette even for this '70 Chevelle, what a sucker. just kidding the Vette was in really good shape, but I wanted a Chevelle and he wanted a Vette.
I have been trying to decode the VIN and Cowl #'s
I have most of them sorted out but I'm not sure on all of the #'s, could someone help me out?
Here are the #'s

Thanks elcamino,
I had some of it figured out, but you have cleared things up for me.
I had a '70 SS 396 four speed when I was 16-17 years old, it was modified and had way too much power for a kid of that age.
Well, the years have passed quickly and I have raised two daughters, They are married now so I can have some more toys. smile.gif
I wanted an SS but I can't leave things stock so I am better off with this car, I can modify it all I want and it will not hurt the value of this car as it would with a matching numbers SS.
Thanks again,
Jeff
