Am I correct that is is a very late built car? What would have been the latest possible biuld for a '69?
Thanks!

Thanks! 13680 ~ Custom El Camino series
KAN ~ Kansas City plant
344255 ~ Fisher Body unit number
770 ~ Ant. Med. Saddle Coated Fabric bench seat
65 E ~ Olympic Gold w/parchment vinyl top
07D ~ July, 4th week
01042 ~ the last part of the DP Sequence Number from Box 24 on the build sheet. Of no significance except to help match the build sheet (if found) to the car.

July is late for the model year as the changeover usually started in August for September delivery of the next model year. I have a photo of another KC 13680 tag with a 07D body date. You didn't post your VIN, but I'd bet it's close to the 440000-460000 range. The one I have with a body number of 352156 has a VIN of 474xxx and that would indicate a late model year. 1969 VINs started with 300001.

Thanks, Dale. No vin yet, just a car I am considering. Seemed pretty late. If I get it, I'll send you the info.
