I found a really nice split bench seat from a 72 Buick Skylark that I want to install in my wife's 70 Chevelle wagon. The color is wrong so I need to recover it. Does anyone know if I ordered a set of covers for a 72 Buick Sport Wagon if the rear covers would fit the 70 rear seat? Did the Chevelle have a split bench option that I could order covers for that would fit the Skylark seat? Any help or ideas would be great. Don

I bet the 70 bench seat seat covers would go right over that seat. I have 2 benches, 1 70, and 1 71. both are split back. I am willing to bet they are all the same seat with the differences being the buns/ padding and the actual seat covers. Snap a pic if you can and I will compare to my seat for differences. Chef

no they did not have the fold down armrest.

I'm sure the rear seat is the same as a Chevelle, so the covers should work.
