What gauges do you have currently?< you may need a different wiring harness.

the gauges work with a printed circuit board in the back of the cluster. I Don't think you can run wires and tap into the gauges themselves.

Maybe someone else can chime in on the subject

They use a printed circuit board, but the connections at the gauge are with a post and nut, so you could wire it up manually if you wanted.

I'm assuming you have the round dash instead of the sweep dash already, correct?

If so, for $370 you can do it right with a complete kit, get all repro gauges that work, with a printed circuit board. It's the route I went and they look/work great. Buying from Ebay you won't know what condition the gauges are in IMO.

This site has all the wiring changes you need (switch which wires go where in your connector) to do it right.

I'd start another post for this -

But you need some flexible hands, and a couple different sockets.

Really, you don't need to take the whole dash out, just move it down. Take off the top dash pad, then remove the bolts holding it "up", like the steering column nuts, the headlight switch, and then take off the gauge cluster. Watch the grounds, you want to make sure you have at least the same ones, and there's one behind the light switch.
