I pulled the rear seat out and was looking at the bottom when I noticed an old jute like piece of padding floating around...looks like it might have been attached to the springs. I fished it out, and noticed on the other side a piece of paper that had been glued to the jute with hand written model/rpo code note in pen:

Was this normal?

Found one like this in both my '68s. Looks like fountain pen ink on a piece of adding machine tape. Its some sort of info from the trim shop, not a build sheet. Also a punch card is often found in the seats.

Thanks David...I'll snoop around for the punchcard.

I foundone also when I recovered my 68's seats. It was labled "Soft Trim Broadcast". As close to a build sheet as I could find. Like finding buried treasure.
