I'm in the process of changing the heater core and restoring the heater box components and I noticed the bowtie on the bottom of the center floor vent for the first time today. I've only had my car 24 years now.:o

90 looks and no comments. Maybe I'm not the only one here who was unaware of the bowtie!:D

Don't have any way of putting a pic up right now but I'll tell you where it's located, and if you have a 66 you can look at yours. It's located on the plastic floor vent that is in the center right over the driveshaft tunnel.

So do '65s. The antenna body (the section below the fender metal) also has a small bowtie cast into it.

Hell, i wouldn't feel ashamed or embarrassed. How often do you put yer head
in places where yer feet are supposed to go ? And vise versa !!
