Hi guys I just purchased a 67 chevelle and it was in pieces I got her up and running and she was running strong it has a later model 350 with HEI distributor. In my haste to put everything together I accidently plugged in the old regulator from the original ignition and about 2 min later the engine just shut off. Now I can not get her restarted I disconnected the old regulator and have gone step by step. There is fuel that is defenetly not the problem. I then checked for spark there was none so i replaced both the coil and the ignition control module. The motor turns over and cranks so there is power from the battery and there is fuel but it refuses to start. I am out of ideas I cant think of anything else to replace I know the timing isnt off because it was running fine. I am starting to get frustrated and before i start tearing other things apart I figured i should come ask for some help. Thanks guys and dont mind the name I sold the gto years ago to buy my first chevelle

Do you have fire going to the distributor? Make sure you have 12 volts going to HEI. Only other thing in HEI is the pole piece. Make sure wires from pole piece to module aren't cut or broken.
