Hey all, just needed to get some info on the nut. I know that I need to get a power steering pitman arm, but can I use the same nut from my manual box? The jeep box didn't come with a nut.
So far, I have the PS pump and brackets from a 69 chevelle. and a GC box. I was going to oder the fittings from Lee Mfg, but the power steering hose fitting screws right into the GC box. The brackets bolt to the head and water pump, and line right up to the (driver's side) alternator, so I can just get a longer belt.
I also need a return fitting and hose. Do I just search for a hose barb fitting?

You still need the fittings. The GC box has an o-ring seal, the stock 69 has a flare fitting. The point of the fitting is to make this seal. Without the seal you will have a leak around the threads of the hose.
The Lee fitting will seal the stock 69 return line to the GC box. If you don't have the 69 return, a parts store will have a short piece of tubbing (bend to fit) with a flare end connector, and again you will need the Lee fitting to seal the connection. OR - buy a return line for the GC box from a parts store. It will have the o-ring fitting on the end.
Can't help with nut.
EDIT - You didn't mention it, but you will need a new rag joint (between steering column & GC box), the rag joint from an early 80's pickup works for this.

ooh, ok, this makes more sense to me (I thought it was a different size thread or something, not O-ring vs. flare).
oh, and the rag joint, forgot about that.
Anyone else know about the nut?

I'm guessing the answer is REALLY obvious, since no one has responded. since the arms are interchangeable, the nuts must be as well. I don't have mine on location to check. But I just ordered my pitman arm from OPGI.
Anyone have any experience with using the same pulley for the alternator and power steering pump (both on the driver's side)? or should I shim out the power steering pump and use the front pulley (keeping the alternator on its own belt)?

You can buy the metric return fitting for a few bucks from the rock:
