On My 64 Elky, I would like to replace the s/s box molding trim pieces. How do I remove the trim and old clips, from the box with out chipping the paint?:confused:

Loosen and raise the rear chrome diecast corners and the rear end of the long side trim - them pull both back , sliding the long trim back off the clips. Be careful with the diecast corners - they break easy. There are 2 studs on each corner piece with the speed nuts.

Do you access those bolts thru the access hole in the rear corners ?
