So i bought a new ac dash for my 1967 chevelle, i need to replace the dash strip that goes on it but i cant find a new one or a reprodction one anywhere, i would prefer the black and chrome one, anyone know where to get one from, also, do i need to change the dash speaker and the kick panel vents. I dont have any ducting ran right now. Anyone know the difference between the speaker and the kickpanels from a/c to non a/c? Thanks in advance

Are you talking about the strip that goes across the dash where the key and lights and lighter go?
You can get this from opgi and the other reproduction parts places just remember that the ss one is different from the malibu, the gap between the headlight switch and wipers is different between tjhe two

Air kick panels: Drivers side does not have the vent provision (it is all smooth). Passenger side has no vent and a large bulge in the upper forward section to cover the ducting which runs into the kick panel (from the evaporator).

correction regarding dash strip- SS or malibu - the distance from the headlight switch and wipers are the same. the difference is from a 66 dash to a 67 dash. the distance between the headlight switch to the wiper switch was changed on a 67 dash from a 66 dash. know what dash you have before getting a ignition strip to fit....don
