Hey hey,
My current 350 was just rebuilt and has 10.25:1 compression. I understand it will require premium but after I got to thinking I started to consider how neat it would be to convert it to E-85. I read a few thread of people who have switched to E85. However I am more curious If there is a conversion for a Quadrajet and if I could run 93 premium one day and e-85 another day? Side affects?

You won't find a flex-fuel sticker on any car with a carburetor.

Jetting for one fuel means the other won't work.

Good luck getting enough alcohol into a tiny Q-jet float bowl anyway.

Ethanol is electrically conductive, and corrosive to metal (magnesium, aluminum) and rubber parts. All rubber and mild steel fuel lines would have to be replaced. The fuel pump would need to pump approx 40% more using E85 instead of gasoline.

After retrofitting the fuel system, switching from pure gasoline to E85 would require changes to carb jetting to make the mixture richer, as E85 has less energy per gallon than pure gasoline, and ideal stoich air/fuel ratio is about 9.5:1, unlike gasoline's 14:1 ratio.
