We just cleaned my intake manifold up and the numbers are confusing. It is a Holley intake manifold, #3866948, and the code is "B55." We thought it was "B66" before we cleaned it. I didn't think this manifold was made in 1965.

It's February 5th, 1965 if you are sure they are 5's and not 6's.

Was this manifold used for a 1965 Chevelle? I didn't think that it was, and I wouldn't think that it would be built that early for a 1966. It's not going to work for my 1966 SS396, but I don't know what engine it went on.

Bob No, to your first question. Yes you are correct in regards to your second thought., and you are correct..it is not going to work on your 66 SS. ;)

Probably an intake from a 65 Impala 396/325 hp engine.

That's a correct one for a 66 SS, not sure what date you need.. but there it is.
