I finally dug through all the wiring mess on my car and found a # cast into the engine block. 14016379 Can someone decode this for me. I looked in my book which only goes through 1969 and it is not in there so I am at a loss here....

350 77-79 passenger car, chevelle, camaro, nova monte carlo.

Ok thanks for the direction where to look. It looks like it is a 77-79 350 with either 2 or 4 bolt main???

Have to remove pan to find that out as most all small blocks were machined in both version but a vast majority were 2 bolts unless they were in HD trucks or HI-perf cars like SS or Vette's.
