I know it's not a Chevelle, but I thought you guys could help me out. My dad's friend is looking to buy a Nova, and wondering what motor originally came in it. Here's the specs:
'68 Nova
"Powder" Blue
Blk Int.
VIN: 114278W350169
Any help would be appreciated

Thanks a lot man, that helped me out, any way to tell if it was a 350? 307? Or do I have to look somewhere else?

The VIN didn't tell engine size until 72 - at least for Chevelles. Probably the only way to find out is find a build sheet or if you're lucky enough to have the Protect-O-Plate. Afraid I'm not up on Nova's to know if there's any clues like maybe fuel line size difference or something.
Might check Google for Chevrolet Nova Forums, I found a few hits there that might get you in the right direction.

Try www.novaresource.org. (http://www.novaresource.org.) It's a great site dedicated to anything Nova.
