I'm installing a 200-4r in my 66. Got the lokar trans mount dipstick (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=LOK-TD3200RTM&N=700+115&autoview=sku) and it's too short to be useful. I have to reach between the head and firewall while trying not to burn my hand on the header... plus the bend is so sharp it's a royal pain to get out and put back in the tube.
I know many folks have done the PG to 2004r swap before me... what dipstick did you use?
Thanks

I usually use GM tubes and indicators, the biggest problem lately has been that they keep discontinuing them, so about the time I get a PN nailed down, I have to try to get a different application.
