I need some help with the last line on the cowl tag. I cannot find anywhere to get this decoded.

Those codes are options installed at the factory. Some one that is up on them will have to respond, like RichL79.

Option Group 1:
E = A01, Tinted glass all windows

Option Group 2:
K = C60 Air Conditioning
M = M35 Powerglide Transmission
P = U63 Push Button Radio
S = U73 Rear Antenna
R = U80 rear Seat Antenna

Option Group 3:
C = B70 Padded Dash

Option Group 5:
W = Right Exterior Mirror

Sounds like a trim tag from an Evening Orchid 1965 Malibu SS Hard Top up on eBay right now! If it is, sure a nice sounding vehicle by the owner's description.

Option Group 5:
W = Right Exterior Mirror

I think R is a rear seat speaker [not rear seat antenna ;) ]
I show W as being RPO A49 ~ seat belts, custom deluxe w/retractors.

My ChevelleStuff site (see sig) has all sorts of decoding info on 64-72 Chevelles.

Option Group 5 "W" was a question on the list I have but I thought all rear antennas were mounted in the rear seat graemlins/clonk.gif
