its not static....its when ever I touch my car if I put a screw drive to it ...it sparks ... go to get out touch body shock me ....remember this happening with a car mannnny moons ago ...can't remember the fix ..bad ground somewhere ?????

Do you have a battery charger or an engine heater hooked up to it?
