Hi i bought a 283 today that was supposely out of a 65 chev pickup but the numbers don't exactely agree with the mortec site hear is the numbers the suffix code is V0II8WA the engine number is 3896944 and the date is A 16 7 according to the site the engine came out of a pickup in 1965 according to the engine number it was 66-67 and according to the block casting date it was a 67 why the difference ?

WA for 283 is a truck for 65-67.
