While redoing my seats,I came across this document tucked deep into the back seat... Soft Trim Broadcast. It is the closest I have found to a build sheet of sorts. I can tell the model and serial no match my Velle, and the trim is black buckets, but can anyone decode the other numbers?

I get an error message saying I'm not the owner of the album.

I guess it takes webshots some time to put the picture available. Try this link:

It is from my aol album.

That's better smile.gif

Well, not being a 68 expert of any kind... I can see some obvious stuff:

U-80 = Rear Speaker
H-47 ???
D-55 = Console
C-60 = Air Conditioning
M-20 = Muncie Trans ratio
13837 = 68 SS 2 door hard top
766 = Black Vinyl bucket seat interior
3798 = Last few digits of your VIN ( should match the car )
805 Sequence # should/might match a similar number on your TRIM TAG

the remained of the codes are typical Fremont codes that are usually not decodable to my knowledge.. they are obscure interior codes for the carpet loop style and headliner material, etc... though the one area to the right seems to be written words?? I can't make out what they say exactly...

A very nice piece of documentation to have for your 68 SS graemlins/thumbsup.gif
