For 1971 I've seen the glove box door inside panel have many different things from a maintenance schedule decal on a flat panel to a 2 cup indentation for placing drinks with the door opened to a tire placard decal. Was there any rhyme or reason to which got what inside panel?

Ah, a stumper. I've had 2 '71 cars, one with the cup impressions, one smooth with the maintenance decal so I'm just curious what the justification was.
