Well to start out with I got my 12 bolt all rebuilt except they put all my brake hardware in a box. Everything was there but it was all in one box. Rights and lefts mixed up and everything.

A couple questions. Which side does the righthand threaded brake adjuster goes on?

Does the wheel with the gear teeth on it go towards the rear of the car?

Is it normal for brake fluid to run out of the wheel cylinders when depressed the plungers? If not I will replace them.

Can someone post a picture of a drum assembly for me.

Got new U.S.A. made drums, new shoes, all new springs, all new emeregency brake cables, all new lines from the Right Stuff that fit perfect, the wheel cylinder were new 6 years ago and never really used except for pushing the car in and out of the garage.

Larry, if you unscrew the adjusters, they should have an L or an R on the end of the threaded part. If not, the right hand threaded one goes on the left side and the left handed threaded one on the right side. the adjuster gear wheel goes to the rear, brake fluid should NOT run out of the wheel cylinder at any time. sorry, don't have a pic handy, the short shoe(primary) goes to the front. Need more help, post back, OK?
