Need to buy a radiator for my '69 SS396 and was looking at this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-1971-Chevrolet-Chevy-Chevelle-NEW-4-Row-Radiator_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1205Q7c6 6Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c 293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhash Zitem370166347654QQitemZ370166347654QQptZMotorsQ5f CarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories . The add say's it fits 70 and 71 but GU shows 68-72 being the same. My engine is a 402 punched 40 over mostly stock, but I think it may run warm so I wanted a 4 row rad. Do you guy's think this will fit?

I've seen these for sale but never bought one. Remember-You usually get what you pay for. At there cheap price they have to be made in a rice paddy somewhere. Just a helpful hint-If your not going 100% OEM stock original but want a great radiator with 0 cooling issues, give Alumitech some thought. Yes it's more cash but George makes a super product and is always around to answer any questions. I say-Save up and buy something worth the money. After all you only want to do this once...

Sorry George/Don...Your still the Radiator King..!

I bought an Alumitech last year, and I love that radiator. It's well worth the money. Think of it this way, if you purchase the cheaper brand and it doesn't cool as you like and doesn't fit (and it won't) you'll end up buying one of Don's units anyway. Why not save your self some money in the long run and get one of Dons Alumitech radiators.
It's your money, BUT, do a search here for Dons product vs. others first before you spend your money. That many members can't be wrong. I can't tell you how GREAT it is NOT to have to worry about my 475 getting too hot and constantly looking down at my temp guage. Not having that worry is worth a lot in my book.
Great product Don, I recommend you to all my work buddies and at car shows too.

That looks similar to the Proliance Ready Rad (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=PLI-433165&N=700+4294810996+4294908216+401121+4294883114+4294 840133+4294908021+4294771962+115&autoview=sku ) that Summit sells. This radiator is made in Mexico. My 406 likes it really well.

Thanks guy's, I'll probably give Don a call and see what he has. I thought his radiators were more for the built up motors.

Thanks to all of your input. After some consideration I decided to go ahead and purchase a radiator from Don. I spoke to him twice yesterday and bit the bullet last night. I only want to spend the money once and felt that this was the best choice. Thanks again Don for answering the phone last night.

Put one of Don's radiator in my W30 a few week ago and it fit like a glove. Works great and cools like it should.
