Have a 1969 Chevelle (L34). The water pump pulley has the following numbers stamped on it. Can anyone decipher? Have looked at the links and also Chevy by the Numbers with no luck. Thanks for the help.

Used on all 307/327/350/396/427 low performance engines in Chevrolet/Chevelle/Camaro/Nova in 1969. Single groove water pump 7.125" diameter.

Thanks Dave for the info. Is the "43 9" the date of the pulley, i.e. 43rd date and 9 for 1969? Guessing this since many of the other parts seem to use this date type designation. Also, when Dave says low performance engine..... my car has a 396/350 HP. What is the definition of low performance.... or guess what I am trying to say is my L34 Chevelle suppose to have this pulley on it? Thanks!!

Steve, I guess I should have said: Used on all L35 (396/325), L34 (396/350), L14 (307/200), LF7 (327/210), L30 (327/275), LM1 (350/255), and L48 (350/295). I'm not sure about the 43 9 number.
