I am rebuilding a 1966 Chevelle. It didn't have horns when I bought it and I am not quite sure where to put them. The assembly manual has one up under the driver side fender and another on the interior of the car by driver side headlight, but someone told me they should go between the core support and the grill.

You know I briefly considered the hood! Alas, my need to keep things looking clean won out and I think I'll give the second positioning option a whirl. Thanks for the picture that looks similar to where the assembly manual had them. Thanks for the welcome too. This is my first car restoration and so I'll be back with more questions!!!!

Could you at least photoshop the rust off that bolt, it's not on there anymore.:D
For the record that pic is on the rad support behind the drivers side headlights.

that's beautiful. I wish I could find a set of longhorns to mount on my elky. Of course, being in California, that would probably get me run off the road!
