Looking for some advice. I would like to replace my Radiator Support on my 70 (or remove original and clean up) but I have a few questions.

I'm NOT a body guy at all, so wanted to know if removing/replacing my Radiator Support is an easy thing to do (easy to line everything back up correctly) or if I should leave it to someone who has experience. Also, what is your experience with the quality of the reproduction radiator supports?

Thanks for your assistance.

Based on what see and read about your new (04) red paint I wouldn't try it.

It's best/easier if the whole front clip comes off. I've never attempted removing while keeping the fenders in place, it could probably be done but you would have to support somehow. I think that would be very difficult to do, especially while trying to do w/o chipping paint.

You could try removing the bumper, remove trim, remove the headlight extensions, grille, and the raditor. This would allow you enough room to cleanup, sand and repaint.

Goodluck!
