If you want a real GM, original nos antenna. Contact Dennie Turner, Phone # is 352-245-8346 NOSantennas@aol.com Not cheap, but you get what you pay for, instead of crap aftermarket from GU.

I'm sure it looks fine.

I deal with the same issues everyone else does when it comes to after market parts. I have some after market window crank handles that look absolutely perfect that I paid really good money for, and they are absolutely crap when it comes to function.I cleaned up my originals and put them back on.
I think ALL after market parts are crap no matter how good they look, so please take no offense.

My point was, why buy an after market part, when you can have the real thing!

Hi Bill, I just won an antenna on ebay, old stock replacement as close to original as I've seen (Made in U.S.A.) $51. Metro Parts has several up for auction when there gone that's it. I got mine today it fits perfect I'm very happy at $51, I lost a bid on an N.O.S. $150+.

I got mine from Dennis in Florida. Was happy. Parts were made by Wards that supplied the radio parts in 66. You can tell the aftermarket antenna mast just by lifting it and then lifting an original. original much heavier. Lots of NOS parts out there that are actualy New Old Service Reproduction!!!!
